Housing developer makes move into new Fox Valley base

A profit for purpose housing developer responsible for helping people to move into their dream homes has completed a big move of its own by relocating to Fox Valley.

NHQB-registered Forge New Homes has moved from their former base at the Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park into a new office at Maria House, just off the roundabout at the entrance to the popular Stocksbridge-based shopping centre.

The company moved to Fox Valley to keep up with growing demand for their services and the move has also created one new additional job.

Andy Beattie, Managing Director, said: “We needed more space to match the expanding business and as half of our team is based in Sheffield, and half in Manchester, Fox Valley proved to be a much more convenient location for everybody.

“We wanted to be based at a place that benefits from brilliant amenities right on the doorstep to the office and Fox Valley perfectly fits the bill.”

Formed in 2019, the company is a partnership between five leading housing providers – Great Places Housing Group, Yorkshire Housing, Together Housing, South Yorkshire Housing and the Guinness Partnership.

These organisations came together with a mission to build high-quality homes, designed for today’s families.

The business operates a ‘profit for purpose’ model – where profits are shared by their partners and reinvested to provide new affordable housing and support local communities.

The company is a National House Building Council-registered home builder and customers benefit from deposit protection, two years builder’s warranty and a further eight years NHBC-backed insurance against major issues.

Forge New Homes is also registered with the New Homes Quality Board - a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the quality of new homes and customer service provided by developers.

The firm is delivering a number of beautifully-designed new housing developments, including The Hedgerows at Pilsley, Waverley Green on the Sheffield/Rotherham border and Welbeck Gardens in Bolsover.

The business will be open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
