Premium Sheffield florist Monica F Hewitt has expanded with a new store at Fox Valley in Stocksbridge as part of the centre’s popular department store, Sandersons.

Monica’s at Fox Valley launched on Yorkshire Day (August 1st) with a special ribbon cutting from the Mayor of Stocksbridge, Cllr Alan Law who joined the new store team to celebrate the official opening.

The opening was marked with traditional Yorkshire white roses and a special offer for customers.

Run by April Bell and her team, Monicas sells a fabulous range of fresh, hand tied bouquets and specialises in high quality flowers and plants.

The Florist will be open 7 days a week and can be found in the glazed unit at the front of Sandersons, by the main entrance to Fox Valley where the business’ stunning new signage can be seen.

The well-known Sheffield florist has a shop in Hillsborough and was founded in 1971. It has a great reputation for high quality flowers and arrangements for all occasions, as well as excellent customer service.

As well as stocking a beautiful range of flowers and plants Monica’s at Fox Valley is also focused on sustainability – with biodegradable wrapping, twine and natural ribbon.

April said: “We are so pleased to be opening our newest store here at Fox Valley as part of Sandersons. It’s a great sister store to our Hillsborough shop and is a fantastic location for us.

“It is wonderful to see our signage up, all our displays in place and the hard work of the last few weeks really coming together.
