Dransfield backs North Ferriby for another season as club marks historic treble

Dransfied Properties has announced the company is once again backing the East Yorkshire football team North Ferriby United in the forthcoming 20013/14 season.

The company has been associated with the club – known locally as The Villagers - for more than 15 years and everyone at the firm is delighted with the team’s performance which has just seen them being promoted to the Conference North for next season.

Ferriby deservedly took the Premier Division and automatic promotion to Conference North with a comfortable win over Ashton – the team has led the league since October 9^th!  

After beating Ashton the team went to win the East Riding Senior Cup in the KC  - wrapping up an historic treble for the club in the process!

Dransfield Properties has close links with Hull and East Yorkshire where many of the firm's most prestigious schemes have been completed over the last 20 years.

The company's Managing Director Mark Dransfield also has close personal links with the club - having played for North Ferriby's reserve side as a teenager in the 1980s.

Mark said: "We are delighted to be able to continue our association with North Ferriby United, it really has been a fantastic season for the club and they are just going from strength to strength at the moment.

“We have always had a great deal of admiration for everyone who works so hard at Ferriby and gives up so much time for all the teams at every level so we are delighted to be able to continue doing our bit.”

The deal is worth £10,000 to the club which has an active youth and junior section as well as the successful first team.

Club Chairman Les Hare said: "We really appreciate the continued support Dransfield Properties has given North Ferriby – its great news that the company will continue its association with us into the Conference North next season.”
