This exciting new project in Hyde, Greater Manchester, has delivered a high-quality retail and leisure destination to the southern edge of the town, repurposing a long-vacant site into a vibrant local hub.

Located at the junction of Stockport Road and Dowson Road, the 0.42-hectare site was formerly home to an Audi dealership. Dransfield Properties has converted and refurbished the existing building to create a new small-format supermarket and a modern gym, along with customer parking, EV charging, landscaping, and other public amenities.

This brings: 

• 12,275 sq ft of commercial space
• Two key occupiers: a supermarket and gym
• 72 parking spaces including EV and disabled bays
• Parcel lockers and car wash provision

This project was approved for planning in February 2026, the gym opened in June 2026 with the Sainsbury's opening later in the summer. the development is generating 30–35 permanent jobs, supporting the local economy and improving access to everyday services for nearby residents.
