Farmfoods to open new store at East Manchester’s Lime Square

The popular frozen food specialists Farmfoods is joining the growing list of retailers at the east Manchester shopping centre, Lime Square.
Work has started this week on fitting out the new unit ready for the brand-new store to open in February.
The company has taken a 20-year lease at the centre and is taking an 8,125 sq. ft. unit previously occupied by Wynsors and Tandy Leather fronting Ashton Old Road.
The new store at Lime Square will open on Wednesday 5th February at 8am and 9 jobs, a mixture of full-time and part-time positions, are being created at the centre.
Farmfoods is a family run retailer specialising in great quality frozen food and essential grocery and household products, all at amazing prices. They stock all the major brands as well as their own exclusive label products. Founded in Aberdeen in 1954 the family business now in its third generation operates from over 300 stores across the UK.
Lime Square is owned and managed by the Sheffield based property company Dransfield Properties. The Wynsors store has been relocated at the centre as part of the improvement works – the shoe retailer can now be found by the rear car park at Lime Square near to Greggs and Poundland.
