KWIK CUTS EXTENDS THEIR LEASE AT MARKET CROSS IN SELBY
5 September 2022
Kwik Cuts barber shop based at Market Cross shopping centre in Selby, has extended their commitment to the centre by taking a new lease.
The popular, family-run barbers has been at the centre since 2005 and offers a range of walk-in services for men, women and children.
When asked about what makes the barbers stand out, owner Claire Scott said: “Many of my clients have been visiting me for a number of years, we have a great catch up whilst they’re here and I try to always offer good customer service as well as a warm welcome.
“My price point has remained competitive as I try not to increase my charges unless I absolutely have to.
“Market Cross is a great location for my business, we have a good passing footfall from the number and range of independents that are here all in one place.”
Market Cross is home to a number of local businesses meaning shoppers can get their weekly shop all in one place. Cooper’s Grocer's sells high-quality fruit and vegetables as well as Cooplands bakery and Re-fill It the eco food shop. All three stores enable shoppers to minimise their food waste by only buying the exact quantities they need, which is better for the planet as well as the pocket.
You can find Kwik Cuts open from 9am to 2:30pm, 5 days a week (closing Wednesdays and Sundays) with appointments not required.
Estates Surveyor, Olly Jansen, said: “Kwik Cuts has provided the Selby community with a great service from our centre for a number of years and we’re pleased to see Claire extending her lease with us.”
Development works on the centre are ongoing to the former Virgin Monday unit, which towards the end of the year will be a funky restaurant and bar operated by the Loungers Brand.
