New management team at Marshall’s Yard

Gainsborough’s award-winning Marshall’s Yard has a new team at the helm – with Melissa Cutforth being promoted to the role of Centre Manager and Amy Jones joining the centre as Assistant Centre Manager.

Melissa joined the Yard eighteen months and has now been promoted to the centre management role with Amy now joining the business to work alongside her at the busy shopping centre.

Amy has worked in a range of customer service and retail roles as well as working more recently as a teaching assistant at schools across Gainsborough. She’s now looking forward to taking on a new challenge at Marshall’s Yard.

She said: “As someone who is local to Gainsborough I’m really delighted to have the opportunity to work here at Marshall’s Yard. I’m looking forward to meeting all the businesses here on the centre and getting involved with the many events and initiatives that make the Yard such a special place.”

Amy has joined the centre just as the team have re-launched the DN21 Awards, working alongside West Lindsey District Council, after a four-year break. She’ll be working on the event with the local authority team and the Centre Manager Melissa.

Melissa takes on her new role after Jodie Pacey has been promoted to Operations Manager at Dransfield Properties, which owns and manages Marshall’s Yard.

Managing Director at Dransfield Properties, James Shepherd, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Amy to Marshall’s Yard and also to reward Melissa and Jodie’s hard work with two very well deserved promotions.

“It’s a busy and exciting time for the Yard – we have B&M joining the centre in the former Wilcos unit next month and our team are working on a great diary of events throughout the next six months.”
