NEW TECH COMPANY SETS UP IN PENISTONE

A new tech company specialising in connecting consultants with businesses has taken a unit at Penistone One.

Mynexo Ltd have created an IOS/Android app aimed at connecting businesses with specialist, external support through a range of independent freelancers. 

The app allows businesses to search for freelancers in their area, within a certain budget and also supports functionalities such as in-app invoicing and a feed for promoting new businesses entering into the marketplace providing a centralised point of communication supported by the apps chat.

The business was set up this year in response to a niche area spotted by the entrepreneur behind it, Dom Brook, who said: “From growing up in Penistone, I’m incredibly proud of where I came from and could think of nowhere better to set up MyNexo’s base.

“Penistone One provides us with a great foundation to scale the business in my home village and I can’t wait to meet the local business community as well as welcoming those from further afield to our Penistone base.”

Mynexo joins 25 other businesses at Penistone One including a health and beauty spa, Eco refill food shop and a diverse range of office-based businesses.
