Retail Park Opens

MP OFFICIALLY OPENS SELBY'S NEW RETAIL PARK!

Selby’s brand new retail development, The Three Lakes Retail Park, is to be officially opened by John Grogan MP at a special ceremony being held on Friday March 19th.

And Mr Grogan will be assisted in the official opening by the six children from Barwic Parade County Primary School who helped chose the name Three Lakes for the prestigious new development.

The development which is on Bawtry Road, in Selby, houses a Homebase DIY, Aldi foodstore, a McDonalds drive thru, Carpetright, Brantano, Pets at Home, Choices Video, Halfords and an Au Naturale store.

It is already proving to be a popular shopping destination for shoppers in Selby and has also recently achieved both Secured By Design – Commercial status and the Secured Car Parks Award after being assessed by North Yorkshire Police.

The new £8 million retail park has been brought forward by Dransfield Properties Ltd the award winning South Yorkshire based urban regeneration specialists.

Mr Grogan cut the first soil on the development in a ceremony held on site in June last year, the retail park was completed on schedule by contractors Keirs just before Christmas.

And Mr Grogan and the children from Barwic Parade will be on hand to unveil the naming stone at the now completed development on Friday March 19th.

They will be watched by Selby District Councillors, local residents and members of the professional team who worked on the retail park.
