Topping Out at Tunstall's New Retail Development

Developers and local councillors will be celebrating the topping out of the latest phase of the successful Jasper Square development in Tunstall tomorrow (Wenesday).

The scheme is due to deliver a fantastic 45,000 sq ft retail, health and fitness centre for JJB as well as a Carphone Warehouse store and a further 1,000 sq ft retail unit.

And to mark the roof being completed on this phase of the ambitious project a special topping out ceremony is being held at Jasper Square at 1pm on Wednesday June 11^th.

Retail Property Developer from Dransfield Properties, Andrew Malley, said: “In any development it’s always something worth celebrating when the roof goes on and we are delighted to be marking this point in our scheme here in Tunstall.

“We are looking forward to the development being completed in the autumn and JJB opening to the public.”

The development is due to be completed later this year – in time for JJB to fit out and open this Autumn.

This development will eventually also include new state of the art facilities for Stoke Primary Care Trust as well as 240 car parking spaces.

Highway improvement works are also being completed as part of the scheme and a covered walkway was completed earlier this year in order to improve the pedestrian link between Jasper Square and the High Street.
