Dransfield Properties Appoints New Head of Communications

Alison, who previously managed Marshall’s Yard - one of the group’s thriving shopping centres in Gainsborough, will formally take up her new role in April bringing with her a wealth of experience in marketing and event planning.

Mark Dransfield, Managing Director of Dransfield Properties, said: “We are delighted that Alison will be joining us as Head of Communications at Dransfield Properties, and look forward to welcoming her back to the company in April following her maternity leave.  Alison’s hard work and dedication as the Centre Manager at Marshall’s Yard has been instrumental to its success over the last ten years.”

Alison was key in driving footfall at Marshall’s Yard due to her strategic marketing campaigns around the centre’s key initiatives. In her new role, she will be leading the communications team as the company’s portfolio of shopping centres return to their busy calendar of events post-covid.

She said: “I can’t wait to get started with a new challenge and get stuck into all of the amazing events our centres have planned over the coming months. 

“It’s crucial that we continue building upon centre footfall and I’m confident that the events calendar and campaigns we have planned over the coming months will further propel the success of Dransfield Properties.”

Dransfield Properties, which has shopping centres across Stroud, Gainsborough, Morpeth and Sheffield, already has a jam-packed calendar of events planned for the coming year, including the return of the centre’s popular food and drink festivals.

In addition to this, new projects continue to grow at Dransfield Properties with the opening of the Medical Centre in Five Valleys and further renewed leases across all centres as Dransfield enters its 30th year of business.
