400 people join Birkenheads new gym over one weekend

My Gym opened its doors with a special preview event on Easter Weekend, successfully signing up 400 members over the two days.

The launch event gave the public chance to look around the new gym whilst getting to meet the team and have fitness experts going through the gym’s newest equipment and the extensive choice of classes on offer.

An exclusive joining offer was available for new members and My Gym also gave the chance for one lucky individual to win a year’s membership. Members were asked to bring an Easter egg down to the gym over the weekend for a chance to win. These easter eggs were then donated to the local children’s hospital in a mission to support and become a big part of the local community.

Geoff Tait, Business Partner for My Gym, said: “The build up to the open weekend was amazing, with some fantastic feedback from the local community.”

“Footfall throughout both days was consistent which allowed us to meet lots of friendly locals. Although we had a lot of new members join up, we also had a lot of the local community just come in for a look around which was great!”
