“We have worked closely with Dransfield Properties to deliver a store that will anchor the Fox Valley scheme. We will be creating around 30 new jobs and will begin our recruitment for the new store later in the year and be advertising those positions over the next couple of months.”
Fox Valley is a brand new town centre development by South Yorkshire based Dransfield Properties Ltd, the development is being built by Henry Boot Construction and is on schedule for a spring 2016 opening, creating up to 900 new jobs in the town.
Mark Dransfield, Managing Director of Dransfield Properties Ltd, said: “We are delighted that ALDI are bringing their new format store to Fox Valley.
“We have worked with ALDI since Dransfield Properties was first founded and the new store will be our 24th ALDI.
It is fantastic to see how the company has evolved and grown in the UK in recent years and they’re going to be a great foodstore anchor here at Fox Valley.”
The development is delivering a new 136,000 sq. ft. town centre in north Sheffield with a 600 space car park as well as brand new, high-spec office space. A new housing development with 114 executive homes is also being developed on a neighbouring site.
